Eugène Jacquet
A wine wholesaler, Secretary General of the Nord Federation of the Human Rights League and a freemason socialist, he rallied to the Sacred Union political truce in 1914. A fluent English speaker, he headed the network that bears his name: the Jacquet Committee. Eugène Jacquet was sentenced to death on 21 September 1915 and was executed the next day at dawn.
